Our flight training school at Texas State Technical College will provide you the flight training and experience to become a successful pilot. We currently have 16 planes, 2 flight simulators, 17 instructors, and online flight scheduling for students and flight instructors. Our flight teams consistently place as the top two-year college flight team in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association's annual Safety And Flight Evaluation Contest(SAFECON). Flight simulators:

Training aircraft includes ten Cessna 152s, two Cessna 172s, two Mooney Eagles, a Twin Piper Seneca and a Twin Piper Seminole.
Flight training students use many types of equipment and software to gain the competitive edge. These include:
Cessna and Piper single- and multi-engine and Mooney Eagle Advanced training aircraft;
Frasca 141 and 242 single- and multi-engine simulators;
Worldwide weather terminals with real-time weather information;
A broad array of piloting tools including analog and digital flight computers, radios, electronic navigational devices; and more. |
