At 15 oz., the Air3100 is the best combination of quiet and comfort for the money. It earned a passive noise reduction rating (NRR) of 21 dB, and features a strengthened headband with stainless steel at stress points for durability and hours of flying comfort in moderately noisy aircraft. Three-position tension adjustment (patent pending) rotates tension from low to high faster than any headset in its class. Thin foam skin ear cushions are standard (gel cushions available).
