The ANR-1D Digital ANRTM headset isn't just the first Digital ANRTM headset that talks. It's the only one! Advanced digital microprocessing makes it possible for the ANR-1D to predict noise in the cockpit and cancel it. That means in addition to 15-20 dB analog broadband noise cancellation, the ANR-1D also provides up to 30dB digital tonal reduction of engine and blade noise. |

The ANR-1D is the only headset that talks, which gives it high marks on the "pilot fun meter." Its audible menu will tell the user whether or not features like automatic stereo/mono sensing, and automatic power off are enabled. A touch of the dB button, and the ANR-1D will tell the user the noise level in the cockpit (measured at the boom mic). And yet, with all these features, the headset weighs a comfortable 15 oz/425 g! Headset is powered by 4 AA batteries, or via aircraft power (cable included). |
